Once you have jointly settled on a plan, I will prepare a Memorandum of Understanding for the finances and/or a Parenting Plan for how you will continue to care for your children together.    

I will speak to you about taking the documents to a solicitor for advice and having them approved by the court, if necessary, so that all loose ends are tied up.    

From my experience as a solicitor I prepare these documents in a format that is appropriate for solicitors and the court and will require minimal further input. I have very good links with solicitors that I can recommend.
