Joint Sessions

We will have as many 1.5 hour sessions as you need to make decisions together

If you want to make decisions about your finances on separation, then in the next meeting we will go through the financial information and put together a summary of the finances so that we are all clear on what the assets and liabilities are. After that meeting, I will send you each a summary of the finances and that is a document that you can use in the future if you need to do so.

In the third Joint Meeting we will begin to discuss ideas for a financial settlement. We can walk through these together to check that they work for the whole family. I will hold the space for you both to have conversations together about this- even if it gets difficult. It is a private space for you and your former partner to make suggestions and come up with ideas. If you need input from other experts, such as Independent Financial Advisors or Pension Experts, I will let you know and explain how to involve them.

If you just want to discuss your children then we can plan the meetings however you decide in order to do this.

You can then have as many further meetings as you need in order to come up with ideas and a plan as to what you would like to do. These can cover any topics that are worrying you.

1.5 hour meeting plus .5 hour preparation @ £100 per hour per person, usual total cost of £400 per meeting

It may be helpful for me to spend some time on documents prior to the meeting and if that is the case I will advise you of this and discuss and agree those costs with you before undertaking any work
